CROCK POT ITALIAN BEEF
INGREDIENTS
4- 5 lb chuck roast
1 packet of zesty Italian dressing mix
1 packet Au Jus Mix
1 box of kettle & fire beef broth (4 cups)
½ a Jar of (16 oz) pepperoncini peppers (drain about half the juice)
1 jar of Giardiniera peppers with juice
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 large TBS of Better Than Bouillon Beef Roasted beef base
Half a large yellow onion
Instructions
1. Place the chuck roast inside the crock pot
2. Combine ingredients in Crock Pot: Place the roast in the Crock Pot along with the onions, garlic, entire box of bone broth and beef bouillon base, au jus mix, Italian seasoning packet, entire jar of mild giardinara and half the jar of pepperoni peppers.
3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
4. Shred and serve: Shred the beef with two forks once cooked. Mix it back into the juices and serve on French bread with Mozzarella or provolone cheese and a side salad!
5. Freezing: Freeze the cooked beef (with some of the juice) in an airtight container. Just thaw and reheat in the Crock Pot for a quick meal.
6. Add veggies: Add sliced onions or bell peppers to the Crock Pot for extra flavor.
