SAUSAGE CHILI RECIPE

 

Chili Recipe

I worked really hard to make a chili my family loves. I hope it becomes a family favorite for you too!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cans of black beans

  • 2 cans of dark red kidney beans

  • 2 cans of chili pinto beans in mild sauce

  • 2 cans of white beans

  • 2 jars of Raos pasta sauce

  • 19 oz Mild Italian sausage

  • 12 oz Breakfast sausage

  • 1 yellow onion

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 1 orange bell pepper

  • 4 or 5 cloves of minced garlic

  • 2 packets of McCormick chili seasoning

  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar

  • 2 TBS of Worcestershire sauce

    Instructions

  • Place all of the chili beans inside of the crockpot along with the two jars of pasta sauce.

  • There will be leftover sauce in the jar. Just use some water to fill it about a quarter of the way so you can get the rest of the pasta sauce out of it, and pour in the crockpot.

  • Brown, your Italian sausage and breakfast sausage sausage in a large skillet, along with the onion, bell peppers and garlic.

  • Put your meat mixture inside of the crockpot along with a quarter cup of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of Worcester sauce and your chili packets.

  • Cook on low for six hours or on high for four hours.

  • Serve on hotdogs or in a bowl with cilantro, jalapeños cheese, sour cream, and Fritos.
