SLOW COOKER BBQ HAWAIIAN CHICKEN
BBQ HAWAIIAN CHICKEN ON WHITE RICE
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds chicken tenderloins
1 red bell pepper seeded and diced
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 (16-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce (I used the sweet baby rays)
1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Generous amount of freshly ground Salt/ pepper
Cilantro (optional)
Instructions
Put all of your chicken in the crock pot add a generous amount salt and pepper.
Add your garlic powder and chopped and seeded red bell pepper.
Next add your barbecue sauce, can of crushed pineapple with the juice, soy sauce and brown sugar into a bowl and stir until brown sugar is dissolved. Then add to your crock pot.
Cover and cook on low for 5/6 hours, or until the chicken is tender.
Serve the chicken and sauce over white rice, add Sriracha sauce and crushed pepper to make it spicy and some cilantro for garnish and for an extra fresh flavor!
